Every month we present a new surprise menu. The only thing you have to do is choose between 4, 5, 6 or 7 courses and leave the rest up to us. Just sit back and enjoy our chef's creations. If you are curious what this month's menu has to offer, please click on the button Menu for an impression.
Restaurant Johannes is located on the Herengracht in the very heart of old Amsterdam, easily reachable by public transport (tram lines 2, 11 and 12, stop Koningsplein).

Make someone happy with a gift voucher from Johannes. Choose a package or a fixed amount. The gift voucher can be redeemed online at the time of booking or at the restaurant.
Is it someones birthday? Graduation? Or is it Mothers Day? Then set the perfect moment to send the voucher!

Book a table
We would be delighted to welcome you as a guest. We are opened for dinner wednesday till sunday. We have several options for groups or special deals. You can book your tables at the bottom of the page on the right.
Reservations for lunch and dinner
Dinner reservations for up to 5 people can be made without a deposit.
Groups
For groups of 6 people or more we require a deposit of €25 per person. For large groups it is also possible to book for lunch.
From 6 persons we serve exclusively chefs menu, on friday and saturday a minimum of 5 courses.
Opening hours
Restaurant Johannes is opened Tuesday till sunday. Our dinner service starts at 18:00 and we take our last arrivals at 21:45.
